AT THE TIP
  • The Hawks return to the road on Saturday afternoon, headed to the nation's capital to take on George Washington.
  • St. Joe's has won five-consecutive games, now the second-longest win streak of the season.

LAST TIME OUT
  • Aleah Snead scored a career-high 22 points as the Saint Joseph's women's basketball earned its fifth-consecutive win after beating Davidson, 60-46, inside Belk Arena on Wednesday evening.
  • The lead changed five times in the opening frame, Davidson holding the advantage after 10 minutes with a 14-9 lead. The Hawks used a 17-0 run in the second quarter to turn a eight-point deficit into a nine-point lead before taking a 32-26 lead into the half. St. Joe's built the lead as high as 16 points early in the fourth quarter, able to distance itself from the Wildcats to secure its fifth-consecutive win.
  • Snead led all scorers with her 22 points on 9-12 from the field to set a new career-best mark. Laura Ziegler notched her fifth double-double in as many games with 14 points and 14 rebounds. All eight Hawks to enter the game scored in the win.

  • Laura Ziegler has scored 10+ points in 20 of her 21 games this season after a 14-point, 14-rebound double-double at Davidson.
  • Ziegler is second all-time in program history with 37 double-doubles in her career.  The junior ranks fifth in the country with 12.0 rebounds per game, while her 10.2 defensive boards per contest leads the NCAA.
  • Mackenzie Smith has registered 12 games this season with 15+ points.
  • Ziegler and Smith rank in the top 10 in scoring in the conference, Smith currently third in A-10 in three-point percentage (44.0%).
  • The Hawks are 19th as a team in assist/turnover ratio (1.30), leading the Atlantic 10. The 17.8 assists per game ranks 23rd in the country and is just behind Richmond's 18.7 assists.
  • St. Joe's shoots 36.5% from three on the season, ranking 19th in the NCAA.

MILESTONE MARKS
  • Ziegler recorded her 814th career rebound against Davidson, surpassing Kim Foley for fifth place in school history. The Herlev, Denmark native ranks ninth in career blocks (89) and 20th in scoring (1,166).
  • In the win over Davidson, Aleah Snead posted a career-high 22 points on 9-12 shooting from the field, adding a career-best of five assists - all in the first half.
  • Mackenzie Smith is 19 rebounds shy of becoming the third player on the team to reach 500 career rebounds, Ziegler and Talya Brugler the 23rd and 24th players to achieve the feat on Hawk Hill.
  • Brugler is 25 points shy of entering top five in program history in scoring, while Mackenzie Smith ranks 10th in school history with 1,428 points.

SERIES REWIND
  • The Hawks and Revolutionaries meet for the 69th time on Saturday afternoon, St. Joe's holding a narrow 36-32 margin in the series history.
  • The two teams have met the fifth-most times in Saint Joseph's program history, only Temple (85), Rhode Island (73), La Salle (71) and Massachusetts (69) facing the Hawks more frequently than GW.
  • The 32 defeats to George Washington is the second-most to a single opponent, only Temple (35) recording more against the Hawks.
  • The Hawks are winners of the last four games in the series, including three double-digit wins in as many years.
