MERION STATION, Pa. – Four members of the Saint Joseph's men's tennis team reached the main draw semifinals across the top two singles flights at the Saint Joseph's Invitational on Saturday.  Othman Bezzaz and Davi Carlos then went on to reach their flight's final.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ernesto Ruy and Santiago Valle moved into the semifinals in the top flight, while Bezzaz and Carlos reached the final four of the second.
 
• Bezzaz then cruised past Maxime Hankins of NJIT, 6-1, 6-4, while Carlos outlasted Delaware's Luke Tollenaar, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 in a supertiebreaker to set up an all-Hawk final in the Crimson flight.
 
• In doubles play, Bezzaz and Ruy teamed up to move on to the semifinals of the consolation draw in the Crimson flight, while the pair of Jakob Gaudreau Barnes and Hector Fullone and the duo of John Butler and Mark Rubin both reached the consolation semis in the Gray draw.
