th in this week's Penn Monto / National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Coaches Poll, the organization announced on Tuesday.

The Hawks played one game last week, dominating Lock Haven for a 9-0 victory on Friday.Â
Ava Smith tied a single-game program record with four goals and added an assist to set a new single-game program mark of nine points on the way to Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Two previous Hawk opponents are ranked in the poll, as Maryland is #11 and Louisville came in at #19. Monmouth, which visited Hawk Hill for a preseason exhibition, is also ranked 13
th.

The Hawks have one ranked team remaining on the schedule this season, as SJU will visit seventh-ranked Liberty on October 19.

Saint Joseph's will host VCU in a critical Atlantic 10 matchup on Friday before welcoming Drexel to Ellen Ryan Field on Sunday.
