OPENING TIP
Saint Joseph's closes its non-conference campaign Sunday afternoon in a doubleheader with the men's basketball team as the Hawks host Arcadia at Hagan Arena.

With a win, the Hawks would finish 9-2 in non-conference play. Saint Joseph's has recorded nine or more wins in each of the last three seasons and has accumulated a 37-7 record in non-conference play since the start of the 2022-23 season.

St. Joe's returns to action after earning its 14th Hawk Classic title with a 73-66 win over Delaware in the championship game. Gabby Casey earned tournament MVP honors after averaging 16.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals over the two games. Rhian Stokes (17) and Aleah Snead (14) each scored in double figures to earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

Thirteen Hawks scored in St. Joe's 100-40 win over Le Moyne, while 10 players recorded at least one assist. Faith Stinson led all scorers with 18 points and added seven rebounds and two blocks. Gabby Casey posted her third double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Kaylie Griffin reached double figures for the first time in her career, scoring a career-high 11 points.

Over the last four seasons, the Hawks are 43-12 (.782) inside Hagan Arena.

SHARING IS CARING
The Hawks lead the nation with a 74.6 percent assist rate, assisting on 206 of their 276 field goals through the opening 11 games. Only seven teams have an assist rate above 70 percent, Northwestern the next-closest team at 73 percent.

Over the Hawk Classic, Saint Joseph's assisted on 52 of its 64 field goal attempts for an 81.3 percent assist rate. The Hawks registered 31 assists against Le Moyne, falling one assist shy of tying the school record set in the 1992-93 season.

MAKING A SPLASH
In the 100-40 win over Le Moyne in the opening game of the Hawk Classic, the Hawks produced a number of season and program benchmarks.

- The Hawks recorded their 13th 100-point game in program history and have reached the century mark in back-to-back seasons. It marked just the third time during head coach Cindy Griffin's tenure that the Hawks scored in triple digits.

- The Hawks' 33 first-quarter points are tied for the second most in a quarter since the switch to a four-quarter format before the 2015-16 season. The three points allowed are tied for the fifth fewest surrendered in a quarter over that span.

- The 60-point margin of victory is the sixth-largest in program history. The school record was set last season in a 102-30 victory over Goldey-Beacom.

- St. Joe's assisted on 31 of its 38 made field goals, tying for the second most in program history and finishing one assist shy of the school record set against Fordham on Dec. 29, 1992.

- Another school record fell Saturday as the Hawks made 16 3-pointers while shooting 41.0 percent from beyond the arc. The Hawks also matched the school record set earlier this season with 39 attempts from beyond the arc.

- Saint Joseph's held a 44-18 rebounding advantage over Le Moyne. The 18 rebounds are tied for the sixth fewest by an opponent since 1981-82.

ABOUT ST. JOE'S
The Hawks replace four players from last year's starting lineup. Only Gabby Casey (33) entered the season having started seven or more games last year. Aleah Snead (6), Rhian Stokes (4) and Kaylie Griffin (1) also made starts in 2024-25.

Saint Joseph's has 14 players on the 2025-26 roster, representing four states and three countries outside the United States. Emirson Devenie (Australia) is the first Hawk to represent her country, while Meja Jägerskog (Sweden) and Olivia Lutterodt (Denmark) are each the second player from their respective countries to join the program.

A local influx sees nine of the 14 Hawks come from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, while Faith Stinson (Ohio) and Cecilia Kay (Massachusetts) round out the roster.
