Men’s Tennis Falls to Dayton

OLEAN, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team fell to Dayton, 4-0, in a neutral-site matchup on Saturday morning.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Flyers clinched the doubles point with a sweep of all three flights.
 
• In singles play, Dayton got wins in the first, second, and fourth flights to secure the match victory.  Santiago Valle led his third-flight opponent in the third set of their match and Eli Gan-Dy was ahead in the opening set in the sixth flight when play was halted.
 
HAWK TALK
"The guys came out ready today," head coach Jeff Puhan said.  "We battled the number-one team and pushed them.  We had opportunities on most courts; credit Dayton for playing well today.  This team is improving rapidly and we're excited for the last half of the season."
 
UP NEXT
The Hawks are idle until Wednesday, when they visit Villanova.
