WASHINGTON – Saint Joseph's freshman Matthew Dubas was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Dubas teamed with fellow freshman Santiago Valle for a 6-2 win in the second doubles flight against Villanova last Wednesday.  The Vancouver, British Columbia, native then cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory in the fourth singles flight to help the Hawks finish off the Wildcats, 4-1.
 
Saint Joseph's returns to action on Wednesday at George Mason before visiting St. John's on Friday.
