PHILADELPHIA – The schedule is set as a new era continues in Big 5 men's basketball for the 2025-26 season.
 
Saint Joseph's will take on Drexel at Hagan Arena on Nov. 8 and play Penn at The Palestra on Nov. 17.
 
For the third straight year, all six of the city's NCAA Division I men's basketball programs have been split into two pods of three teams. Each team will play the others in their pod at on-campus sites in a round-robin format. From those games, the schedule will be set for a tripleheader at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, Dec. 6 with the first seed in each pod competing for the Big 5 championship, the second-place teams in each pod competing for third place, and the third seeds competing for fifth place.
 
For the 2025-26 season, one pod will feature Drexel, Penn and Saint Joseph's while the other pod features La Salle, Temple and Villanova.
 
Tickets for the men's Toyota Big 5 Classic at Wells Fargo Center will go on sale in September. Fans are encouraged to visit Big5Classic.com for updates.
