WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Members of the Saint Joseph's men's tennis team kicked off the fall portion of their slate with matches at Monmouth on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Othman Bezzaz and Ernesto Ruy teamed up for a doubles win, topping a pair from the host school in a supertiebreaker.  Bezzaz was also up a set in his singles match when play was halted for the day due to rain.
 
The Hawks will return to action at this weekend's Hofstra/St. John's Invitational, beginning on Friday.
