PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's men's track and field team competed at the Penn Select meet on Saturday at the Ott Center.
 
TRACK EVENTS

• The Hawks delivered a strong performance in the men's mile, placing four runners in the top 10. Will Rau led the group with a sixth-place finish in 4:10.18, followed closely by Michael Glavin in seventh with a personal-best 4:10.20. Brendan Hefferan (4:11.28) and Ryan Cichocki (4:11.29) both recorded personal bests to place ninth and 10th, respectively. Noah Deckert finished 12th in 4:13.27, while Tom Barausky posted a personal-best 4:22.56 in 24th. Christian Napoli rounded out the event for the Hawks in 26th at 4:26.11.
• In the 60m prelims, Logan Henry led the Hawks with a 10th-place finish in 7.07, while Henry Peklo followed in 14th at 7.12.
• Benjamin Henry led the way in the 400m, winning the event and setting a new meet record with a time of 48.54. Luke Noss added a third-place finish in 48.87, with Logan Maloney placing sixth at 49.58. Brody Wyatt made his 400m collegiate debut, finishing 10th in 50.77, while Eli Turner in 52.07 and RJ Mallery in 53.49 rounded out the Hawks.
• The Hawks were also strong in the 800m, led by Alex Wockenfuss, who finished second overall in his first collegiate 800m with a time of 1:53.32. Chris Manzo (1:56.23) and Elijah Smith (1:56.40) placed ninth and 10th, followed by Anton Bovone in 13th with a time of 1:56.86 and Regent Walden in 20th with a time of 1:59.94.
• Benjamin Henry capped a standout meet by winning the 200m in 21.54. Logan Maloney finished third in 22.01, while Eli Turner placed 10th at 22.96.
• In the 3000m, Gavin Mogck led the Hawks with a fourth-place finish and a personal-best 8:24.63. Anthony Gargani finished ninth in 8:36.61, with Ian Romea 10th in 8:40.90 and Jay Shanahan 11th in 8:43.75.
• The men's 4x400m relay closed the meet on a high note, as Luke Noss, Alex Wockenfuss, Regent Walden, and Chris Manzo captured first place with a season-best time of 3:16.07.

 
FIELD EVENTS

• Cameron Campbell-Miller led the Hawks in the long jump, finishing fourth overall with a season-best mark of 6.84 meters. Logan Henry followed with a fifth-place finish, also posting a season best with a jump of 6.68 meters.
