OPENING TIP
Saint Joseph's makes its first Atlantic 10 road trip of the season Saturday, visiting Fordham inside Rose Hill Gym.
The Hawks opened their Atlantic 10 account with a gritty 55-45 win over VCU on New Year's Eve.
Rhian Stokes led the Hawks with 11 points while adding five assists. The sophomore has recorded 24 points, 15 assists and just two turnovers in the last two games.
Aleah Snead was the only other Hawk in double figures, adding five rebounds.
Faith Stinson nearly posted her first double-double as a Hawk, finishing with nine points and nine rebounds.
Gabby Casey added nine points, while
Jill Jekot tallied three of her four steals in the final three minutes to go with seven points.
STOKES DELIVERING GIFTS
Stokes became the 13th player in the country this season to record at least 10 points and 10 assists without committing a turnover. Since 2002-03, only Stokes and Natasha Cloud have accomplished the feat for the Hawks.
SHARING IS CARING
The Hawks lead the nation with a 75.4 percent assist rate, assisting on 254 of their 337 field goals through the opening 13 games. Only six teams have an assist rate above 70 percent, with Drake the next closest at 72.9 percent.
HEATING UP
Saint Joseph's leads the Atlantic 10 in field goal percentage, shooting 44.9 percent. The Hawks are also among the nation's best from distance, shooting 35.5 percent from 3-point range to rank 44th nationally and second in the Atlantic 10.
ABOUT ST. JOE'S
The Hawks replace four players from last year's starting lineup. Only
Gabby Casey (33) entered the season having started seven or more games last year.
Aleah Snead (6),
Rhian Stokes (4) and
Kaylie Griffin (1) also made starts in 2024-25.
Saint Joseph's has 14 players on the 2025-26 roster, representing four states and three countries outside the United States.
Emirson Devenie (Australia) is the first Hawk to represent her country, while Meja Jägerskog (Sweden) and
Olivia Lutterodt (Denmark) are each the second player from their respective countries to join the program.
A local influx sees nine of the 14 Hawks come from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, while
Faith Stinson (Ohio) and
Cecilia Kay (Massachusetts) round out the roster.

Saint Joseph's enters the 57th meeting with a 40-16 all-time series advantage over Fordham. The last meeting at Rose Hill Gym saw the Hawks erase a four-game losing streak away from home, cruising to a 76-49 win in the 2023-24 season.
