WASHINGTON – Saint Joseph's junior Karin Dobiasch has been named the Under Armour Atlantic 10 Women's Track Performer of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Dobiasch shattered the school record in the indoor 800m on Saturday – which teammate Tess Crossan had set just seven days earlier – with a personal-best 2:08.12 at Penn's Quaker Invitational.  The native of Munich, Germany, also set the meet record with a time that is the fastest in the Atlantic 10 this season and currently ranks 17th in the nation.
 
She was also part of the 4x400m relay squad that placed third and turned in a season-best time of 3:48.27.
 
The Hawks return to action on Saturday at the Scarlet and White Invitational, hosted by Boston University.
