PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's track and field team opened the outdoor season at the Penn Challenge on Saturday at Franklin Field.
TRACK RESULTS
In the 1500m,
Quinn O'Brien led the Hawks with a seventh-place finish in 4:33.93, while
Payton Kochanski posted a time of 5:10.21.
The Hawks had a strong showing in the 400m, led by
Stephanie Cristinzio's fourth-place finish in 59.47.
Gemma Chevoor followed in sixth in 1:00.42,
Alessandra Schuster placed seventh in 1:01.45 and
Rylee Barnhart finished ninth in 1:04.99.
Sammy Walz led the way in the 100m, capturing the win in 11.94.
Olivia Binns finished fourth in 12:06,
Kendall Cooper placed fifth in 12.09,
Maya Adams ran 12.54 and
Cecilia Abruzzo finished in 12.69.
In the 800m,
Carolyn Smith led the Hawks with a time of 2:21.04, followed closely by
Sara Sherlock in 2:21.69.
Alyssa Bloxton posted a time of 2:32.79.
In the 200m,
Cecilia Abruzzo led the Hawks with a time of 26.12.
Olivia Beddow recorded a personal best of 26.31,
Stephanie Cristinzio ran 26.35 and
Alessandra Schuster finished in 27.41.
The Hawks saw a strong performance in the 3000m as
Clare Kornacki placed fifth in a personal-best 10:33.82.
Carlyn Segrave-Daly followed in sixth in 10:34.62, while
Noelia Reyes recorded a personal-best time of 11:17.63.
FIELD RESULTS
Lily Ferguson earned a second-place finish in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 5.58m.
