CHESTER, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's track and field team turned in an impressive performance at the Paul Donahue Invitational, hosted by Widener University, highlighted by personal-best marks, podium finishes, and movement in the program record book across two days of competition.
FRIDAY TRACK RESULTS
- The Hawks opened competition in the 5000m, led by Carlyn Segrave-Daly, who placed 17th with a time of 18:08.83. Noelia Reyes crossed in 19:34.55, followed by Lexi Boyd in 20:25.14.
- In the elite section of the 800m, Tess Crossan paced the Hawks with a fourth-place finish in 2:07.93. Samantha Korck delivered a standout performance, placing sixth in 2:08.38, a personal best that ranks fifth all-time in program history. Quinn O'Brien followed in seventh at 2:09.11, while Karin Dobiasch posted 2:10.80. Carolyn Smith added a personal-best 2:14.50, and Gemma Chevoor rounded out the group in 2:18.78.
- Sabrina Paz represented the Hawks in the elite 1500m, recording a personal-best time of 4:39.48.
SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS
- In the 200m, Sammy Walz led in a standout performance, placing third with a personal-best time of 24.15 that ranks second all-time in Saint Joseph's history. Cecilia Abruzzo followed in 25.95, with Johnna Gonter finishing in 26.82 and Rylee Barnhart in 28.22.
- In the 100m, Saturday's action saw continued success in the sprints, led by Walz, who placed second with a time of 11.79. Maya Adams finished in 12.59, followed by Abruzzo in 12.75, Gonter in 13.02, and Taylor Rosen in 13.61.
- In the 400m, Barnhart posted a personal-best time of 1:02.21.
- Taylor Rosen turned in a strong effort in the 400m hurdles, placing sixth with a personal-best time of 1:03.61, which ranks seventh all-time in program history.
- The Hawks saw a trio of personal-best performances in the 800m, led by Sara Sherlock in fifth at 2:18.35. Ali Fink followed in seventh with a time of 2:18.91, while Chloe Care placed 11th in 2:19.43.
- The Hawks continued their momentum in the 1500m, highlighted by Quinn O'Brien's first-place finish in 4:31.82, a personal best that ranks seventh all-time in program history. Jonalee Adames added a personal-best time of 4:46.13, while Abby Tuturice finished in 4:53.83 and Clare Kornacki recorded a personal-best 4:58.78.
- In the 3000m steeplechase, Katrina Endres placed ninth with a time of 11:39.25, while Payton Kochanski finished 11th in 11:41.57.
SATURDAY FIELD RESULTS
- Lily Ferguson led the Hawks in the long jump, placing fifth overall with a mark of 5.40m.
