Men’s Track and Field Concludes Action at Penn Invite

PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's men's track and field team competed at the Penn Invite meet on Friday at the Ott Center, turning in multiple strong performances and personal bests across the day.

TRACK EVENTS:
  • In the mile run, the Hawks posted a tight cluster of finishes. Josh Forrest placed 21st with a time of 4:15.42, while Jackson Kane followed closely in 22nd, recording a personal-best time of 4:16.96. Joey Lanci finished 23rd in 4:18.16, and Evan McGregor placed 24th with a time of 4:18.45.
  • The 60m dash prelims were led by Logan Henry, who placed 12th with a time of 7.07. Jerael Moore followed in 16th, recording a personal-best time of 7.11, while Adam Petersen finished 29th in 7.42.
  • In the 400m dash, Logan Maloney delivered one of the top performances of the day for the Hawks, placing eighth overall with a personal-best time of 48.30. Darren Cammauf finished 10th in 48.77, and Brody Wyatt rounded out the event with a 20th-place finish in 50.83.
  • Alex Garcia turned in a standout effort in the 500m dash, finishing second overall with a time of 1:04.77.
  • The 800m was led by Tom Barausky in 13th with a time of 1:54.85. Anton Bovone placed 19th in 1:55.59, followed by Immanuel Rota-Talarico in 21st at 1:56.16. RJ Mallery finished 25th in 1:57.48, while Colin Donahoe placed 31st in 1:58.54.
  • In the 200m dash, Darren Cammauf led the Hawks with a ninth-place finish and a personal-best time of 22.16. Jerael Moore followed closely in 11th, also recording a personal-best time of 22.23. Adam Petersen finished 22nd in 22.91, and Layton Holt placed 25th with a time of 23.37.
  • Elijah Stoudt represented the Hawks in the 3000m, finishing 19th overall while recording a personal-best time of 8:40.46.
  • The Hawks closed the meet in the 4x400m relay, as the quartet of Darren Cammauf, Alex Garcia, Layton Holt, and Luke Noss finished seventh with a time of 3:23.88.
 
UP NEXT
 The Hawks will return to action at the IC4A Indoor Championships on Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8, in Boston, Massachusetts.
