OPENING TIP
Saint Joseph's returns to Hagan Arena after a two-game road stand, hosting Davidson in a rematch on Sunday afternoon.

Coming off a 69-65 road victory at La Salle to complete a season sweep of the Explorers, the Hawks were once again paced by Gabby Casey, who led the team with 14 points. Emily Knouse and Rhian Stokes each added 11 points, while seven Hawks scored at least seven points to help hold off La Salle.

Faith Stinson continues to impact the game in multiple ways for the Hawks. While averaging nearly nine points per game this season, the senior forward recorded four assists in each of the last two contests, setting and matching her season high in wins over Duquesne and La Salle.

Saint Joseph's ranks second nationally in assist rate, assisting on 72.8 percent of its made baskets. Only three teams nationwide eclipse the 70 percent mark, with Northwestern leading the country at 73.0 percent.

Head coach Cindy Griffin enters Sunday one win shy of surpassing Stephanie Gaitley for sole possession of second place on the Atlantic 10's all-time wins list with 220 career conference victories. Joe McKeown leads the league with 240 wins.

SHARING IS CARING
St. Joe's has assisted on 356 of its 489 made baskets through 20 games, accounting for assists on 72.8 percent of its field goals.

Taking care of the ball has been a staple of the Hawk offense over the prior three seasons. St. Joe's has ranked in the top 30 twice in the last three years in assist-turnover ratio while being a mainstay at the top of the leaderboard among Atlantic 10 teams. This season, the Hawks are near the top 30 in both assist/turnover ratio (1.19) and in assists per game (17.8), leading the A-10.

CASEY STEPPING UP
Gabby Casey has done a little bit of everything for the Hawks in 2025-26, leading the team in points, rebounds, assists and steals per game. She has scored in double figures in 17 of her 19 appearances, collected at least five rebounds in 16 games and recorded three or more steals eight times.

Casey has led Saint Joseph's in rebounding 11 times, scoring and steals 10 times, and assists nine times. She leads the Hawks with four performances with a team-best plus/minus.

Through 19 games, Casey sits 17 rebounds and 11 assists shy of matching her career highs set during the 2024-25 season, marks that came across 34 games. She has already surpassed her previous season bests in points and steals.

ABOUT ST. JOE'S
The Hawks replace four players from last year's starting lineup. Only Gabby Casey (33) entered the season having started seven or more games last year. Aleah Snead (6), Rhian Stokes (4) and Kaylie Griffin (1) also made starts in 2024-25.

Saint Joseph's has 14 players on the 2025-26 roster, representing four states and three countries outside the United States. Emirson Devenie (Australia) is the first Hawk to represent her country, while Meja Jägerskog (Sweden) and Olivia Lutterodt (Denmark) are each the second player from their respective countries to join the program.

A local influx sees nine of the 14 Hawks come from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, while Faith Stinson (Ohio) and Cecilia Kay (Massachusetts) round out the roster.
