WASHINGTON – Saint Joseph's senior forward Erika Culp has been named the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon.

Culp tallied her first collegiate hat trick on Friday and added an assist for a career-best seven points as the Hawk drilled La Salle, 7-0, to finish off an unbeaten Atlantic 10 regular season and win the league's outright regular season title for the first time in three years.

The Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, native currently sits on eight goals and 19 points, both tied for the team lead and ranking among the league leaders.  She also recently moved into a tie for 11th place on the program's all-time scoring list with 28 career goals.

The top-seeded Hawks begin their quest for the Atlantic 10 title on Thursday morning when they take on fourth-seeded Davidson.  Game time is set for 11:00 a.m. at VCU's Cary Street Field.
