WASHINGTON, D.C. – Four members of the Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse team have been named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Team, the league office announced, as the Hawks were selected to finish second in the A-10 Coaches Poll.
Richmond was selected as the preseason favorite, earning six of the seven first-place votes and 47 total points. Saint Joseph's and High Point were picked to finish tied for second with 34 points apiece, with the Hawks collecting the remaining first-place vote.
Delaware was tabbed fourth in its inaugural season in the Atlantic 10, followed by Massachusetts, Hobart and St. Bonaventure to round out the 2026 preseason poll.

Liam Quinn were each recognized following standout 2025 campaigns on both ends of the field.
Dutton returns after a record-breaking freshman season in which he earned Atlantic 10 First Team All-Conference and Rookie of the Year accolades. Starting all 15 games, Dutton led Saint Joseph's with 47 goals and 55 points, setting program freshman records in both categories. His 47 goals were tied for second-most in a single season in program history, while his 122 shots rank fifth.
Dutton paced the Atlantic 10 in total goals and finished sixth nationally in goals per game (3.13). He scored multiple goals in 12 of 15 contests, including 10 hat tricks, and registered game-winning tallies against Penn and Providence. His six-goal, seven-point performance against Providence set the program's freshman single-game scoring record and tied for the sixth-most goals in a game in school history. He also contributed seven caused turnovers and 12 ground balls.
On the defensive end, Gross, Gaalaas and Quinn were integral pieces of a unit that ranked fourth nationally in scoring defense (8.67 goals allowed per game) and sixth in man-down defense (.776).
Gross anchors the Hawks in goal after a dominant junior season. A starter in all 14 of his appearances, Gross ranked in the top 10 nationally with a 9.15 goals-against average and led the Atlantic 10 with a .569 save percentage, good for seventh in the country. He averaged 11.7 saves per game, second in the conference. Gross posted a career-best 164 saves in 2025 and now sits ninth in program history with 291 career stops. He recorded double-digit saves in nine games, including four contests with at least 15 saves, highlighted by a career-high 23-save performance against Richmond in the regular season finale.
Gaalaas appeared in all 15 games, finishing with 24 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. He recorded four caused turnovers against Massachusetts, tied for the third-most in a single game in program history, and had four games with multiple caused turnovers in conference play. Gaalaas also chipped in offensively with a goal and two assists, including a goal and assist against St. Bonaventure.
Quinn, a 2025 Atlantic 10 Second Team All-Conference and All-Academic Team selection, started all 15 games and ranked fourth on the team with 13 caused turnovers and sixth with 21 ground balls. He caused multiple turnovers in four of five conference games and scored his first collegiate goal in a win over Drexel, where he also collected a career-high five ground balls.
