The Hawks are coming off a 59-51 victory over Davidson on Sunday, splitting the season series after falling to the Wildcats earlier this year in North Carolina.
One of the hottest teams in the conference, Rhode Island enters Wednesday's matchup unbeaten in league play at 10-0 and owns a conference-best .905 winning percentage overall. The Rams are receiving votes in both the AP and Coaches Poll.
While averaging 5.3 points over her last three outings,
Faith Stinson has continued to impact the game in other areas. The senior has set or matched her season high with four assists in two of the last three games, combining for 11 assists and 16 rebounds during the stretch.
Saint Joseph's leads the nation in assist rate, assisting on 72.4 percent of its made baskets. Only four teams nationwide eclipse the 70 percent mark, with the Hawks narrowly surpassing Northwestern's 72.1 percent rate.
Gabby Casey has earned back-to-back Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors. Over the past two weeks, the junior guard has averaged 20.7 points per game while shooting 62.2 percent from the field and 52.9 percent from three-point range, adding 6.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest.

Through 21 games, the Hawks have assisted on 369 of their 510 made field goals, maintaining the nation's top assist rate at 72.4 percent. Taking care of the ball has been a staple of the Hawk offense over the prior three seasons. St. Joe's has ranked in the top 30 twice in the last three years in assist-turnover ratio while being a mainstay at the top of the leaderboard among Atlantic 10 teams. This season, the Hawks are near the top 30 in both assist/turnover ratio (1.19) and in assists per game (17.6), leading the A-10.
CASEY STEPPING UP
Gabby Casey has done a little bit of everything for the Hawks in 2025-26, leading the team in points, rebounds, assists and steals per game. She has scored in double figures in 18 of her 20 appearances, collected at least five rebounds in 17 games and recorded three or more steals eight times.
Casey has led Saint Joseph's in scoring and rebounding 11 times, steals 10 times, and assists nine times. She leads the Hawks with five performances with a team-best plus/minus.
Through 20 games, Casey sits 12 rebounds and nine assists shy of matching her career highs set during the 2024-25 season, marks that came across 34 games. She has already surpassed her previous season bests in points and steals.
