NEWARK, DE - An early first half goal by Saint Joseph's (3-3) was not enough as #14 Delaware (4-2) netted four unanswered goals to notch a 4-1 victory. Sophomore Nicole Antonini tallied the lone Hawk goal.

Antonini opened the scoring for the Hawks just 2:32 into the game off an assist from sophomore Maureen Casserly. It was her fifth goal of the year.

UD, however, tied the game at the 21:38 mark by scoring on a penalty corner. The Blue Hens then took the lead less than two minutes later to make it a 2-1 game.

Delaware's third goal of the opening stanza came at the 29:07 mark to give the Blue Hens a 3-1 halftime lead.

UD closed out the scoring with 23:32 remaining in the game.

Megan Allen stopped three shots in goal for Delaware while freshman Rebecca Cunfer made six saves for the Hawks, who were out-shot, 17-7, by the Blue Hens.

SJU returns home on Sunday for a game against #20 Penn State.
