The opening of the second half saw Saint Joseph's come out shooting. After being awarded another corner, Theresa Barbati was able to get off a shot that was blocked. Minutes later there was a scramble in front of the Scarlet Knights' goal and Antonini was able to land a shot in the back of the cage for her eighth goal of the season, and the lead.
The Hawks were unable to slow the Rutgers offense as four minutes later, RU tied up the score with 20:00 minutes remaining in the game.
