PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's men's and women's track squads are participating in the 113th Penn Relays at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field. Check here throughout the weekend for updated results as they are announced.

On Thursday, freshman Morgan Matecki placed 63rd in the 400m hurdles event with a time of 1:08.60. In the 4x100 relay heats, the SJU squad of Valerie Ramirez, Jordan Teuber, Julie Lentz, and Nicole McMullen turned in a time of 48.12. The 4x400 heats saw the Hawk entry (Caitlin McGrath, Amanda Guthridge, McMullen, and Lentz) run the relay in 3:55.22. Finally, senior Suzie McHenry was 31st in the open division 5,000m with a time of 18:02.72.

The Hawk men took to the track on Friday afternoon. The Distance Medley Relay squad did not finish its race, but the 4x400 foursome placed sixth in the Wetzler/Pennsylvania 4x400 Relay, clocking a 3:20.54. On Saturday, the men's 4x800 relay placed 20th with a time of 7:47.76. The women's 4x800 turned in a 9:28.69, good for 21st.
