PRINCETON, N.J. – The Saint Joseph's women's track and field team turned in a strong all-around performance at Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational, highlighted by a pair of school-record performances and multiple top finishes across the track.
TRACK RESULTS
The Hawks opened the meet with a record-breaking performance in the 4x100m relay, as the team of
Olivia Binns,
Mariam Koita,
Kendall Cooper, and
Tamasen Allen Bey set a new school record with a second-place finish in 46.02.
The Hawks had a strong showing across multiple sections of the 800m.
Karin Dobiasch captured the win in 2:06.27, shattering the outdoor school record by more than two seconds, while
Samantha Korck placed second in 2:12.44.
Tess Crossan finished fourth in 2:12.93, and
Quinn O'Brien placed fifth in 2:14.43.Â
Carolyn Smith led her section with a personal-best time of 2:16.50, followed by
Gemma Chevoor in 2:20.15 and
Sara Sherlock in 2:23.70.
In the 400m,
Olivia Beddow led the Hawks with a personal-best time of 58.41, followed by
Alyssa Bloxton in 59.80 and
Alessandra Schuster in 59.93.
Stephanie Cristinzio also competed, posting a time of 1:00.68.
Tamasen Allen Bey led the Hawks in the 100m with a fourth-place personal-best finish in 11.81.
Mariam Koita followed with a personal-best time of 12.06, while
Maya Adams ran a personal-best time of 12.44 and
Johnna Gonter finished in 13.13.
Taylor Rosen led the Hawks in the 400m hurdles with a ninth-place finish in 1:05.94.
In the 200m,
Tamasen Allen Bey and
Mariam Koita led the Hawks with fourth- and fifth-place personal-best finishes in 24.39 and 24.40.
Olivia Binns ran a personal-best time of 24.60;
Kendall Cooper, also with a personal best, finished in 24.64,
Maya Adams posted a personal-best time of 25.36, and
Cecilia Abruzzo finished in 25.92.
The Hawks closed out the meet with a fourth-place finish in the 4x400m relay, as the team of
Olivia Beddow,
Alessandra Schuster,
Taylor Rosen, and
Carolyn Smith posted a time of 4:02.32.
In the 3000m steeplechase,
Katrina Endres recorded a ninth-place finish in 11:31.91.
In the 1500m,
Grace Rudder led the Hawks with a personal-best time of 4:36.05, followed by
Chloe Care in 4:46.39.
Sabrina Paz posted a time of 4:53.30, while
Ali Fink finished in 4:58.89.
In the unseeded 5000m,
Jonalee Adames led the Hawks with a personal-best fourth-place finish in 17:35.50.
Carlyn Segrave-Daly followed in with a personal-best time of 17:51.16, while
Noelia Reyes posted a time of 19:09.73.
