Antonini and Luft Selected to City 6 All Star Team

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's Nicole Antonini and Lauren Luft were named to the 2006 City 6 Field Hockey All-Star Team, as selected by the area coaches. 12 student-athletes were chosen to the All-Star Team from Saint Joseph's, Drexel, La Salle, Temple, Penn and Villanova.

Antonini led the Hawks in scoring this season with 15 goals and four assists for 34 points. She finished her career with 52 goals and 26 assists for 130 points. The senior midfielder was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team four years in a row, the only player in program history to do so.

Luft, a senior forward from Hatboro, PA, was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team the past three years. Luft was second on the team in scoring this season, with nine goals, 10 assists and 28 points. Luft finished her career on Hawk Hill with 31 goals, 24 assists and 86 points. The 24 assists tied her for second on the Hawks' career leaders list with Carolyn Wood.

Also named to the team were Sarah Gostomski, Emily Horvat, Amy Comstock, Allison Geiger, Liz Schlossberg, Ashley Bird, Alli Lokey, Lauren Campanelli, Stephanie Campbell and Megan Foster.
