Men's Soccer Loses to James Madison, 1-0

Harrisonburg, Va. - Saint Joseph's men's soccer lost to James Madison, 1-0, on Friday night, despite freshman Andrew D'Ottavi's (Petersburg, N.J./Ocean City) efforts in net, making a career-high 17 saves.

The two teams played a scoreless first half but the Dukes' would score at the nine-minute mark in the second half. CJ Sapong received a ball on the endline off a throw-in and crossed it in to Paul Wyatt, who went one-on-one with D'Ottavi and scored from two yards out.

The Hawks were unable to get many shots off as JMU held a 27-4 advantage on shots for the game. D'Ottavi has 33 saves in just four games this season.

SJU (0-4) will travel to Towson on Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. match.
