The Saint Joseph's women's track team competed at Delaware on Friday and Penn State on Saturday. Senior Erin Vanderhoof led the way with a first place finish at Delaware, while Karly Cahill and Kristin Andrews each won their heat at Penn State.
Vandherhoof took first in the long jump with a mark of 16'7 ¾" while freshman Genevieve Reardon took sixth in the high jump (4'11") at Delaware.
At Penn State Cahill won both her 60m and 200m sections with a ninth place (8.32) overall finish in the 60m and a 13th (27.71) finish in the 200m dash.
Andrews won the fourth heat of the 500m dash with a sixth overall finish (1:16.31) at Penn State. She also ran the fastest split (57.7) in the 4x400 meter relay while the team finished fourth of eight teams (3:55.79). The Hawks also took second in the 1600m sprint medley with a time of 4:16.39.
Stefani Zabilowicz also won her heat at Penn State in the 60m hurdles preliminaries with a fourth place finish in 9.23 and took fourth overall in the 60m hurdles finals with a time of 9.26.
The Hawks compete again on Friday at the Gotham Cup at 4:00 p.m. in New York, N.Y.
