The Saint Joseph's women's track team competed at Penn State and Delaware on Friday and Saturday. Junior Kristin Andrews broke the school record in the 500 meter dash at Penn State.
Andrews finished second, breaking the 500 meter record (1:15.49) with a qualifying time of 1:15.00, while Shannon Geddes put in a season best 1:19.53 to finish 22nd.
Nohjay Nimpson took fifth with a season-best performance (38'7") in the triple jump while Anna Casey also had a season best (2:17.07) in the 1,000m for a 10th place finish at Penn State.
The Hawks also had a qualifying time in the 4x800 meter relay finishing fifth in 9:19.85 at Penn State.
At Delaware the Hawks took sixth place highlighted by Stefani Zabilowicz's fourth place finish in 9.32 while Jessica Chen took sixth (9.45).
Ashley Williams also took sixth, finishing the 60 meter dash in 8.16 seconds while taking 17th in the 200m (27.26).
Beth Getty led the way in jumps with a seventh place showing in the triple jump (31'1 ¼") and eighth in the long jump (15'8 ¾")
The Hawks compete again on Friday evening at Penn State and Saturday morning at Delaware.
