Fairfax, Va. - The Saint Joseph's women's track team competed at the Mason Spring Invitational at George Mason on Saturday. Junior Nohjay Nimpson won the javelin throw while Erin Vanderhoof took third in the long jump.

Nimpson had a season best throw of 119'4" to take first in the javelin and also took 10th in the triple jump with a mark of 35'8 1/2".

IVanderhoof had a mark of 16'10 1/2" in the long jump and tied for fifth in the high jump with a 4'11" leap while freshman Hannah Boyce placed fourth in the high jump (4'11").

In sprints Ashley Williams tied for ninth in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.64 seconds while Karly Cahill (27.81) and Emily Coldren (61.92) were the top finishers for the Hawks in the 200 meter and 400 meter dash. Kristin Andrews won her heat in the 800 meter with a 10th place finish in a season-best 2:21.16.

In hurdles Stefani Zabilowicz took 12th in 15.29 seconds in the 100m while in the 400m Danielle Osbourne was the Hawks top finisher in 72.39 seconds.

The Hawks finished with two season best performances in relays placing fifth in the 4x400m (4:16.72) and eighth in the 4x100m in 49 seconds.

Saint Joseph's returns to action on Saturday at Princeton.
