PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's basketball team returns to action this Tuesday as the Hawks head to Big 5 rival Penn for a 7 p.m. tip at the Palestra.

• The Hawks are coming off a 58-57 loss at Iona last Wednesday in which SJU fought back from a 21-point fourth quarter deficit and had a chance to tie in closing seconds.
• Tuesday marks the second Big 5 contest this year for the Hawks as they enter the day with a 0-1 record in the city series after falling to Temple, 86-70, in the season opener.
• SJU is 107-40 all-time in Big 5 games and has won 17 titles, the most recent coming in 2014-15.
• Tuesday's contests marks the 42nd meeting between Saint Joseph's and Penn with the Hawks holding a 39-2 edge in the series.
• The Quakers won the last contest at the the Plaestra, topping SJU 65-51 in the 2014-15 season, but the Hawks won last year's meeting, 50-46.
• Sophomore guard/forward Sarah Veilleux is coming off a career-high 14 points at Iona.
