The University of the Sciences will induct four new members to the Devils Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday February 13^th. Joining the already elite group of 61 members will be: Pete Dalidowicz C'90, PhD, John Poole P'54, MS, PhD, Heather Coyle Scannell MS'00, and Gene Willard PharmD'07.

Dr. Pete "Pistol" Dalidowicz helped lead the Devils to two NRA National Air Rifle Championships, two MAC Small bore, two Mac Air Rifle Championships, and the first double championship in school history. Dalidowicz graduated as the school's all-time points leader with 96,000 in his three-year stint with the Devils, accruing 14 scoring records while collecting 17 collegiate rifle records. Upon his departure from the University of the Sciences Dalidowicz attended The Ohio State University where he obtained his PhD in organic Chemistry. Dalidowicz returned to the Devils Athletics family in 1995 as an assistant coach for the rifle team, before assuming the role of head coach in 2011. Since his time at the helm, Dalidowicz has guided the Devils to five MAC Conference Championships. Along with his role as Head Coach to the Devils rifle team accompanied by team mascot Luna his 110lb Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Dalidowicz works as a Senior Scientist for the world's largest adhesives company, Henkel Adhesives.

Heather Coyle Scannell a member of the Devils softball team from 1996-2000, played in 86 games during her time at USciences. An ACL sidelined her for the '97 season, but Scannell returned the following year to hit .547, ranking her third in NAIA and putting her atop the record board for a single season in program history. Scannell ranks second all-time in career batting totals with a .434 average. At the end of Scannell's storied career she was first with 111 hits, and currently ranks 15^th. Scanell still ranks second in program history with a 19.3% avg. for runners caught stealing. A representative of both the University of the Sciences and the United States, Scannell played on the Indoor World Cup team in 2000 and 2001, traveling through Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland on her first trip and France on the second. Scannell started her career in N.J. as a physical therapist with Select Medical, where she has been a center manager for the past 13 years focusing on outpatient orthopedics.

Dr. John Poole a member of the All-Millennium Team, played in 74 games from 1950-54, scoring 1,093 points and becoming the first to reach the 1,000-point club in Devils athletics history. Poole ranks 12^th all-time in Devils athletics averaging 14.8 points per game. The 1952-53 put Poole at fifth for the single season free throw percentage in what was then PCP history at 83.7 percent. Poole later went on to receive his master's in pharmacy from Temple University, followed by his PhD in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Poole spent his career in research and development at Wyeth and McNeil Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Gene Willard was a four-year starter for the Devils men's basketball team from 2001-05, starting in 100 of 101 games he played in. Willard amassed 1,667 points in his time in maroon and white, placing him eighth on the all-time scoring list. Willard ranks seventh all-time among Devils scorers with 16.5 points per game, along with ranking in the top 20 in 16 different categories, as well as holding records in the top 10 in total offensive rebounds, offensive rebounds per game, total defensive rebounds, and defensive rebounds per game. Willard led his team in scoring in two seasons 2001-02 and 2003-04, he also led the Devils in three consecutive seasons from 2001-04. These accolades led Willard to being named to the Philadelphia Area All-Small College Team in 2004-05, along with being the first USciecnes four-time All-CACC honoree. Upon graduation in 2007 with a doctorate of pharmacy degree, Willard began his career at Crozer Chester Medical Center, before leaving to become the pharmacy manager at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Willard currently works as a clinical pharmacist at Paoli Hospital and is pursuing his MBA at West Chester University.
