• Seniors Shavar Newkirk and James Demery top the Hawks in scoring with Newkirk (16.7) edging Demery (16.6) for the lead
• SJU ranks third in the nation in fewest turnovers per game (8.9) and fourth in fewest turnovers (71)
• Freshman Taylor Funk ranks 15th in the nation for three-point percentage (51.7) and is 27th in three-pointers made (3.3)
• The Hawks have not played since last Saturday's game at Temple due to final exams

INJURY REPORT
Charlie Brown, Jr. has missed nine games after suffering a fracture in his left wrist, on which he had surgery on Oct. 24; His return to the lineup is undetermined
Lamarr Kimble will miss the remainder of the season after re-injuring the fifth metatarsal of his left foot at Toledo. It was the same injury that occured on Feb. 11, 2017 which required surgery and caused him to miss the final seven games of the season

LAST TIME OUT
• Saint Joseph's rallied from a 16-point deficit in the second half but couldn't get over the hump, falling to Temple, 81-78, in a Big 5 matchup at the Liacouras Center
• The Hawks held their biggest deficit of the game, 74-58, with 5:25 to play, and cut it to 76-72 at 1:32 after two straight three-pointers by Taylor Funk; SJU couldn't come closer than 79-76 with :11 to go
Shavar Newkirk led four Hawks in doublefigures with 18 points
Pierfrancesco Oliva grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds while Chris Clover also surpassed his personal best with nine rebounds

TAKING CARE OF THE BALL
• Saint Joseph's ranks fourth in the nation in fewest turnovers per game with 9.3 and third in number of turnovers with 84 on the year
• SJU has recorded single digits in turnovers in four of nine games, with a low of four in the win over Princeton
