ABOUT THE HAWKS
• Saint Joseph's won its first A-10 road game of the year as it defeated Fordham, 71-55, behind 20 points from James Demery and 19 from Shavar Newkirk. It was Demery's eighth game this season with 20 or more points
James Demery is averaging a career-best 17.4 points for the Hawks and 18.6 points in Atlantic 10 games. Shavar Newkirk is right behind him with 17.2 points per game
Taylor Funk needs two three-pointers to break the freshman record for threes set by Charlie Brown, Jr. (71)
• Saint Joseph's ranks third in the nation in fewest turnovers with 239
• The Hawks have won two in a row - a victory today would give them their longest winning streak of the season
Phil Martelli and the Hawks are participating in the Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge. Fans can pledge donations for three-pointers made by SJU at 3PointChallenge.org
