• Saint Joseph's won its first A-10 road game of the year as it defeated Fordham, 71-55, behind 20 points from James Demery and 19 from Shavar Newkirk. It was Demery's eighth game this season with 20 or more points
• James Demery is averaging a career-best 17.4 points for the Hawks and 18.6 points in Atlantic 10 games. Shavar Newkirk is right behind him with 17.2 points per game

• Seniors Shavar Newkirk and James Demery accounted for 39 of the Hawks' 71 points in the win at Fordham
• Demery made 8-of-14 from the field and grabbed six rebounds; Newkirk hit three three-pointers while adding six rebounds and a team-high seven assists
CALLING ON CLOVER
• Chris Clover has been able to provide a spark coming off the bench in the last two games, which have both been SJU wins
• He has averaged 14.0 points while shooting 11-of-18 (61.1 pct) from the field and 5-of-7 (41.7 pct) from three-point range
