Saint Joseph's women's soccer head coach
Jess Mannella has announced the additions of transfers
Izzy Greene (Lyndhurst, Ohio/Gilmour Academy)
and
Kathleen Rivera (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) for the 2020 season.
A rising junior forward, Greene comes to Hawk Hill after two standout seasons at Dayton. A 2018 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selection, she appeared in 36 matches with 15 starts, and tallied three goals and three assists during her time as a Flyer. A four-year standout at Gilmour Academy, Greene earned GSCAA All-American honors as a senior and was also named D2 GSSCA Player of the Year and D2 All Cleveland Player of the Year. Leading the Lancers to the D3 state title as a junior, she also was twice selected to the United Soccer Coaches All-Central Region Team and OSSCA All-Ohio First Team, and was a three-time GSSCA All-Cleveland First Team member. In club play, Greene helped the Cleveland Cobras to six titles including the 2017 U19 Holiday Classic Championship, the 2016 Nike Challenge Cup, and the 2015 State Cup.
A rising sophomore goalkeeper, Rivera will don a Saint Joseph's jersey this fall after spending her rookie season at Old Dominion. Prior to joining the Monarchs, Rivera was a four-year standout in goal at Bensalem High School earning All-Golden honors twice. A three-time All-League selection, Rivera also competed for FC Bucks alongside current Hawks

The Hawks are coming off their sixth straight Atlantic 10 Championship appearance in 2019.
