BETHLEHEM, Pa. – University of the Sciences cross country ran for the first time in nearly three weeks on Friday morning at Lehigh's Paul Short Run.
Dylan Zuch placed in the top-half of the field in the Men's College White 8K, crossing 100th out of 218 in a new collegiate personal record of 28:33.4, shaving over thirty seconds off his previous best time.
Running her first collegiate 6K in the Women's College White Race, Jenny Sidarous also finished in the top-half of the field by placing 105th out of 263 with a time of 24:57.1.
Paige Jacobs (6K) and William Hallinan (8K) both came in just ahead of the 30 minute marks in respective times of 29:31.8 and 29:59.5.
Making his collegiate debut, Omar Bedak ran the 8K course in 32:53.9, while Sian Poteat-Romero made his season debut and finished in 34:11.6.
Sabrina Abbruzzese ran her first collegiate 6K in 32:33.4.
USciences runs at familiar Belmont Plateau, the site of this year's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship, for a second time this season next Saturday at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial.
