Cross Country Runs at Jack Saint Clair Memorial on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – The University of the Sciences cross country team ran for the second of three times at Belmont Plateau this season on Saturday at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial.

Belmont is the site of the 2021 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship on Oct. 24.

Jenny Sidarous led the women with a top-fifth of the field finish, placing 18th in a field of 90 with a time of 26:19.4 on the 6K course. She was the fifth freshman to cross, as well the 10th from a CACC team in a race that featured six of them.

Dylan Zuch continued to lead the men with a top-fourth of the field finish, crossing 31st in the field of 128 in 29:59.3. He was 11th amongst CACC competitors in a race that included seven CACC squads.

William Hallinan was also in the top-half of the field, in 53rd, after running the 8K course in 31:49.0.

Omar Bedak and Sian Poteat-Romero rounded out the men's results with respective times of 34:39.9 and 35:51.0.

Ciaran Dubeck and Sarah Herter ran their first career college 6K's in 31:45.5 and 38:05.6.

Sabrina Abbruzzese clocked in between them at 35:36.2.

University of the Sciences gets its final prep in for the CACC Championship at next Saturday's Border Battle hosted by Rowan.
