BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph's field hockey team held on to its #11 ranking in the latest National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Coaches Poll released on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Hawks split a pair of games over the weekend, falling in overtime on Friday at UMass – which moved up a spot to #20 after defeating SJU and falling to Richmond two days later – before topping then-#12 Boston College, 2-0, on Sunday.  The Eagles slipped one spot after also falling to #4 Louisville.
 
Four of the Hawks' previous opponents remained in the top 10, with Rutgers, Maryland, and North Carolina holding steady at third, eighth, and 10^th, respectively, while Penn State fell two spots to #7.  Another previous opponent, Delaware, slid three places to 23^rd.
 
Saint Joseph's has one game left on the schedule against ranked opposition, as #21 Ohio State comes to Hawk Hill for the regular season finale on October 31.
 
The Hawks return to action on Friday when they host Davidson at 3:00 p.m.
