GENEVA, N.Y. – Saint Joseph's field hockey senior
Katy Benton has been selected to participate in the 2022 NFHCA Division I Senior Game, the organization announced on Thursday. Classmate
Anna Miller was chosen as an alternate.
Benton, a native of Worcester, Pennsylvania, is a two-time NFHCA All-Region Second Team selection and has twice been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team. Benton also earned a selection to the United States U-21 Women's National Team and competed for the Stars and Stripes at the Five Nations Tournament this past summer.
Hailing from Chester Springs, Pa., Miller earned All-Region First Team honors in the spring of 2021 to go with a pair of All-A-10 selections as well. She has been named to each of the last two All-Atlantic 10 Championship squads as well.
Selected student-athletes, chosen for the honor based on their career accomplishments, will have the opportunity to take part in the Senior Game, which will be held in conjunction with the NCAA Final Four in Storrs, Connecticut.
