FAIRFAX, Va. – The Saint Joseph's women's indoor track & field team scored seven points to place 13
th out of 13 teams at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday and Sunday.
OF NOTE:
George Mason Field House is a flat track and conversions to banked track time apply for certain events.
SCORING PERFORMANCES:
- Graduate student Kassidy Mulryne scored the first points of the meet for the Hawks. Mulryne placed fifth overall with a best mark of 1.67m (5'5.75") in the high jump.
- Rookie Kimberly Johnson, senior Briana Baier, junior Olivia Wojtowicz, and junior Stephanie Hiltpold claimed sixth overall in the 4x800 relay in a time of 9:17.05. The time also satisfies the ECAC standard for next week's championship meet.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
- With the conversion, both freshman Danielle Juliano and sophomore Becca Millar set collegiate bests in the mile run. Juliano clocked a 5:25.87 and Millar a 5:31.22.
- Coming off a career performance in the 5,000m Saturday night, junior Sarah Myers clocked another PR in the 3,000m. Myers executed her race plan perfectly to come away with a time of 10:23.75 to knock ten seconds off her previous PR.
