THE TIP-OFF
• Saint Joseph's is making its 40th appearance at the Atlantic 10 Championship, and third under Head Coach Billy Lange.
• The Hawks are seeded 13th in the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship as they finished tied with La Salle at 5-13 in the standings, but the Explorers earned the higher seed based on tie breakers.
• Wednesday marks the fourth time the Hawks have played in the First Round of the Atlantic 10 Championship.
• Saint Joseph's enters Wednesday with a 1-2 mark as the 13th seed as it topped La Salle a season ago, 72-66, but previously fell to UMass (70-63 in 2017) and George Mason (77-70 in 2020).
• Wednesday's matchup with 12th seed La Salle marks the third meeting this season between the two teams, with the Hawks falling to the Explorers in both contests.
• Both A-10 Championship First Round games will be streamed on ESPN+.

ABOUT THE 2022 ATLANTIC 10 CHAMPIONSHIP
The 14-team Atlantic 10 Championship begins Wednesday with the Championship Final set for Sunday, March 13. ESPN+ will air Wednesday's First Round games while USA Network will carry the entire Second Round Thursday and all four Quarterfinal matchups Friday. CBS Sports Network will air the Semifinals Saturday at 1:00 and 3:30 pm. The Championship Final is set for 1:00 pm on CBS Sports as part of their annual Selection Sunday coverage.
