PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's track and field team concluded its regular season competition at the second day of the Penn Relays and at the Lehigh Carol and John Covert Classic on Saturday.

PENN RELAYS:

• The 4x100m of senior Ginika Nkwonta, sophomore Sydney Rose, rookie Judith Walker, and junior Jacki Harding relay won the Eastern Section final in a blistering time of 46.77. The squad now ranks second in the Atlantic 10 for this event.

LEHIGH JOHN AND CAROL COVERT CLASSIC:

• Junior Sarah Myers led the Hawks in the 1,500m with a time of 4:51.92, which is just shy of her PR.
• Doubling back from yesterday's Penn Relays, rookie Alexis Doherty took third overall in the 400m with a time of 59.42. Junior Tori Kestel (5^th, 1:00.11) and junior Darynn Minus-Vincent (6^th, 1:00.47) also placed in the top 10 for this event.
• Rookie Camille Bertin set a 400m hurdle PR with her time of 1:10.14.

UP NEXT:
Championship season begins for the Hawks who will travel to Richmond, Va. to compete in the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The competition will run from Saturday, May 7 through Sunday, May 8.
