PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse team will host Hobart on Saturday with the NEC Championship on the line. The Hawks are coming off of a narrow 12-11 semifinal victory over LIU, while Hobart is fresh off a decisive 21-5 win over Bryant in its semifinal. The Hawks are looking for the program's first NEC title, while the Statesmen are looking for their first since 2016.

ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • Paced by sophomore Carter Page's three goals in the semifinal, the Hawks picked up an impressive 12-11 semifinal victory over LIU on Thursday.
  • The Hawks have the T-14th ranked scoring offense and the 14th ranked defense nationally.
  • Page has scored 13 goals in his last four games, as he continues to lead the team with 44, which is tied for the program's single-season record. 
  • Five Hawks have earned 40 or more points this season, including Matt Bohmer, Levi Anderson, Carter Page, Tucker Brown, and Austin Strazzulla.
  • Junior Matt Bohmer and senior Levi Anderson share the team-lead in points with 57.
  • Zach Cole continues to lead the country with a 69.7% faceoff winning percentage. The senior has won 265 of his 380 faceoffs this season.
  • Patrick Clemens continues to lead the team's defensive effort, causing 21 turnovers this season.
  • Goaltender Robbie Seeley is 9-1 and has compiled a .548 save percentage.
  • The Hawks' 13 victories are the most ever in a season.
ABOUT HOBART:
  • The Statesmen are 7-5 overall and 4-3 in league play this season.
  • Hobart has the 13th ranked scoring offense in the country.
  • On Thursday, Hobart concluded the game on a 21-3 run to defeat Bryant, 21-5.
  • Senior midfielder Derek Madonna leads the team in goals with 29.
  • Senior attacker Ryan Archer leads the team with 59 points. The Syracuse, N.Y. native has assisted on 34 goals this season.
  • Midfielder Adam Shea is sixth in the country in ground balls per game, scooping up 8.55 per contest.
  • Junior goaltender Kevin Holtby is 7-4 with a .502 save percentage.
