COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four members of the Saint Joseph's field hockey team earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors on Wednesday.

Milou Kluyt and graduate student
Ava Smith were named to the All-Region First Team, while junior
Erika Culp and senior
Emily Tammaro were tabbed for the Second Team.
The Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year and a Second Team All-Conference selection, Kluyt started all 22 games on the Hawk defensive line and was part of a defense that held opponents to just 7.5 shots per game and 4.33 per game in conference play; Saint Joseph's also allowed the second-fewest goals in the Atlantic 10 this season. The Goirle, Netherlands, native tallied six goals this season as well, scoring three in two games at the Atlantic 10 Championship – including both game-winners – on the way to Most Outstanding Player and All-Championship honors.
Smith was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team after tying for third in the league with 17 goals scored this season and leading all scorers with eight goals in conference play. The Glasgow, Scotland, product was a three-time A-10 Offensive Player of the Week this season and set a new program single-game record with nine points in the win over Lock Haven on October 3. Her four goals in the game tied a school record as well.
Culp ranked third on the team in assists in 2025 and was also among the team leaders in goals and points as she collected her third All-Conference honor when she was named to the First Team on November 5. The Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, native scored on both of her shootout attempts, including the game-winner, as the Hawks topped #11 UConn in the season opener.
Tammaro started all 22 games and went the distance in most, serving as a key cog in the midfield and as the Hawks' primary inserter on attacking penalty corners. The Virginia Beach, Virginia, native led the team with 10 assists, which tied her for second in the Atlantic 10, and added two goals for a total of 14 points, ranking her third on the Hawk squad and tied for 10th in the conference. She was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team and to the All-Championship Team as well.
All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors, which will be announced on December 16.
