Men’s Track and Field Concludes Regular Season at Philadelphia Metro

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's track and field team closed out the regular season at The Ott Center on Friday, taking part in the Philadelphia Metro hosted by Penn.
 
TRACK EVENTS
  • Josh Forrest led all Hawks in the mile, setting a PR of 4:10.83. Michael Glavin (4:11.05) and Dawson Baptiste (4:16.56) also set personal records in the event.
  • Junior Benjamin Henry placed second in the 60m dash, cruising to a time of 6.95s.
  • Henry returned to lead the Hawks in the 400m, setting a new personal-best time of 48.47s to finish in third. St. Joe's had back-to-back finishers after Darren Cammauf set a season-best time (48.71s) to finish fourth. Tommy Silvester crossed the line to round out the trio with a PR of 49.24s.
  • Jayden Greene finished in second place in the 500m, setting a PR after finishing in 1:04.01. Chris Manzo (1:05.20) and Graham Phillips (1:05.29) crossed the line right after Greene to round out the event.
  • Tomek Przybylak led the Hawks with a time of 1:53.06 to finish fifth in the 800m. Immanuel Rota-Talarico set a personal best after following just behind Przybylak with a time of 1:54.67.
  • Matt Carnes was the lone Hawk in the 1000m, finishing with a time of 2:40.43.
  • Junior Luke Noss led a pair of runners in the 200m. Noss finished in fourth place, setting a PR with 22.29s. Darren Cammauf set a season best with a time of 22.44s.
  • Colton Johnson led the Hawks in the 3000m after setting a season-best time with 8:22.86 to finish second. Ryan Cichocki finished under a second behind his teammate, while Brendan Hefferan finished with a time of 8:32.60. Rookie Eli Stoudt timed at 8:51.36, while Cole Wassel set a PR with a time of 9:21.54.

UP NEXT
St. Joe's heads to Virginia Beach, Va. next weekend for the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships. The two-day meet begins on Friday, February 28.
