WASHINGTON – Saint Joseph's senior Tess Crossan has been named the Under Armour Atlantic 10 Women's Track and Field Performer of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Crossan set a new school record in the indoor 800m, finishing third at the Penn Select meet in an Atlantic 10-leading 2:09.05; she eclipsed her own previous program-best from a year ago by a quarter of a second.  Crossan, a native Collegeville, Pennsylvania, also led off the 4x400m relay squad that placed second with a time of 3:51.28.
 
The Hawks return to action in the Quaker Invitational at Penn's Ott Center on Saturday.
