OPENING TIP
The Hawks return home after a dominant wire-to-wire victory at Loyola Chicago, leading by as many as 21 points en route to their second straight win.

Aleah Snead recorded her third double-double of the season, leading Saint Joseph's with 16 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Jill Jekot added 13 points, while all eight Hawks who scored finished with at least four points.

Saint Joseph's looks to secure its fifth three-game winning streak of the season — and its second three-game stretch in Atlantic 10 play. A victory would guarantee at least a .500 conference record for the fourth consecutive year and mark the 19th time in Cindy Griffin's 25 seasons at the helm that the Hawks have finished .500 or better in league play.

The Hawks continue to rank among the nation's elite in ball movement, sitting second nationally in assist rate (71.1%), trailing only Northwestern (71.3%). Saint Joseph's is one of just three programs in the country above the 70 percent mark.

Saint Joseph's has also thrived when playing from ahead, posting a 13-0 record when leading at halftime and a 16-0 mark when holding a lead with five minutes remaining

SHARING IS CARING
Through 25 games, the Hawks have assisted on 434 of their 610 made field goals, maintaining one of the top assist rates in the nation (71.1 percent).

Ball movement and decision-making have been hallmarks of the program in recent years. Saint Joseph's has ranked in the national top 30 in assist-to-turnover ratio twice over the past three seasons and continues to sit among the Atlantic 10's leaders.

This season, the Hawks rank near the national top 30 in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.22) and lead the Atlantic 10 in assists per game (17.4).

CASEY STEPPING UP
Gabby Casey has been a do-it-all presence for the Hawks in 2025-26, leading the team in points, rebounds and steals per game. She has scored in double figures in 21 of her 24 appearances, recorded at least five rebounds in 21 games, and tallied three or more steals eight times.

Casey has led the team in rebounding 13 times, scoring 12 times, steals 11 times and assists 10 times this season. She also owns five games with a team-best plus/minus.

Through 24 games, Casey has already surpassed her previous single-season bests in points, rebounds, assists and steals.

SNEAD IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Snead's 16-point, 12-rebound, six-assist performance against Loyola Chicago marked the third double-double of her career.

She made her first collegiate start against the Ramblers as a freshman and now averages 12.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in three career games against Loyola Chicago.

LET IT FLY
The Hawks are coming off a program-record 231 three-pointers made in 2024-25. Saint Joseph's is 25 three-pointers shy of reaching 200 makes this season, which would mark the third consecutive year — and fourth time in program history — eclipsing that milestone.

ABOUT ST. JOE'S
Saint Joseph's is competing in its 53rd season of women's basketball and the 25th under head coach Cindy Griffin. The Hawks are 29 wins shy of reaching 1,000 victories in program history.

Griffin recently surpassed Stephanie Gaitley for sole possession of second place on the Atlantic 10's all-time wins list with 223 career conference victories. Joe McKeown leads the league with 240 wins.

SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday marks the 65th all-time meeting between Saint Joseph's and Duquesne. The Hawks secured their 50th win in the series earlier this season and hold a dominant 30-4 record at home. Duquesne claimed the last meeting at Hagan Arena, snapping a three-game home winning streak in the series.
