WASHINGTON – Saint Joseph's senior
Benjamin Henry has been named the Under Armour Atlantic 10 Men's Track Performer of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Hailing from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Henry was the anchor of the Hawks' 4x400m squad that turned in the fastest time in the Atlantic 10 this season, running a 3:11.38 as the Hawks won the race at the Philadelphia Metro Meet on Friday. He also recorded the fastest 60m sprint of the weekend and the fifth-fastest in the conference this season with a second-place 6.88s, less than a tenth of a second off the top-ranked time in the Atlantic 10.
The honor is Henry's second of the season; he was previously chosen as the Performer of the Week on January 13.
The Hawks return to the track for the Atlantic 10 Championships on Friday.
