Women’s Track and Field Posts Event Wins and School Records at ECAC Indoor Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – Saint Joseph's women's track and field team delivered a strong two-day performance, highlighted by multiple event wins, personal bests, and podium finishes across the track on the way to a fifth-place finish out of 19 teams at the ECAC Indoor Championships.

TRACK RESULTS (SATURDAY)
• The Hawks opened the meet in the sprints, with Tamasen Allen Bey leading the group with a 7.74 finish, followed closely by Olivia Binns in 7.78 and Mariam Koita in 7.82.

• Sammy Walz led the Hawks in the 200-meter dash prelims with a 24.82 for 10th place, while Mariam Koita followed at 24.97. Kendall Cooper and Tamasen Allen Bey each recorded personal bests at 25.13 and 25.15.

• The Hawks continued their strong showing in the 400 meters as Kendall Cooper finished fifth in 56.36, a personal best, while Samantha Walz added another personal-best effort, placing seventh in 56.79.

• The 800-meter run was a major highlight for the Hawks, as Tess Crossan won the event with a new school-record time of 2:08.02. Karin Dobiasch followed with a fourth-place finish in 2:09.69, while Samantha Korck placed sixth in a personal-best 2:10.09 to move into the top four on Saint Joseph's all-time list. Quinn O'Brien rounded out the group with a 12th-place finish in 2:11.87.

• In the 3000 meters, Grace Rudder finished seventh overall, running a personal-best 9:50.53 to move into the top six on the program's all-time list.

TRACK RESULTS (SUNDAY)
Crystal Benito paced the Hawks in the 500-meter dash with a personal-best fifth-place finish in 1:16.34, while Olivia Beddow followed in 10th at 1:17.30.

• The Hawks claimed another event win in the 1000-meter run, led by Quinn O'Brien, who won the race in 2:47.90 to break the school record and move into the top spot on Saint Joseph's all-time list. Majken Lutzen completed the one-two finish, placing second in 2:47.96, also eclipsing the previous school record and moving into second all-time.

• Saint Joseph's relay squads capped off the meet with several strong performances. The 4x400-meter relay team of Kendall Cooper, Sammy Walz, Crystal Benito, and Olivia Beddow placed fourth with a time of 3:49.59.

• The Hawks recorded a second-place finish in the 4x800-meter relay, as Samantha Korck, Majken Lutzen, Tess Crossan, and Karin Dobiasch combined for a time of 8:45.37, moving the quartet to No. 1 on Saint Joseph's all-time list.

• The distance medley relay team of Chloe Care, Taylor Rosen, Ali Fink, and Sabrina Paz closed out the meet with a seventh-place finish, posting a time of 12:04.39.
