WASHINGTON, D.C. - Alivia Heers of the Saint Joseph's softball team has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 29, 2026. It is the first time this season she is receiving the honor. 

Heers slashed .500/.556/1.000 as the Hawks went 2-1 in a trio of non-conference games. She was instrumental in a doubleheadewer sweep of Monmouth on Friday. In the opening game, she went 1-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in a 7-3 win. During the 10-3 victory in the later contest, she went 3-for-4 with a double, homerun and three RBI. She did not strikeout during the week.

St. Joe's is back in action with four home games this week, beginning on Wednesday, April 1 against Monmouth at 4:00 p.m.
