WASHINGTON, D.C. -
Jules Scogna and
Elyssa Hasapis of the Saint Joseph's softball team were both recognized by the Atlantic 10 as the conference announced its weekly awards. Scogna was named the Pitcher of the Week and Hasapis was selected as the Co-Rookie of the Week.

Hasapis slashed .600/.636/.700 in the Hawks' sweep of St. Bonaventure during the weekend. She went 6-for-10 in the three games with a double, three RBI, three steals and six runs scored. The Oak Park, Illinois native had two hits and an RBI in each game of the weekend and did not strike out in 11 plate appearances. She also scored in each game of the series, including three runs in Sunday's contest.
The Hawks are back in action on Wednesday, April 22 when they travel to Lehigh for a 3:30 p.m. first pitch.
