PHILADELPHIA- Several of the St. Joseph's men's track team competed in the prestigious Penn Relays over the weekend. Ben Koch was the top individual performer for SJU, placing 3rd in the College 3000 meter Steeplechase with a time of 9:02.33. Marc Maccario, Kile Garguilo, Mike McCabe, and James Scott teamed up for a fifth place finish in the IC4A 4x200 Relay Championship while the Distance Medley Relay team of Brian Rosetti, Maccario, Andy Craycraft, and Karl Savage placed eighth in the Championship of America (9:46.47). Other highlights include the 4x800 team's 12th place finish in the 4x800 Championship of America. Craycraft, Savage, Rosetti, and Geoff Valentine teamed up to run a 7:31.92.
