BRADY, KRASNOSHIOK AND GRAFF TABBED TO WOMEN'S ALL-BIG FIVE TEAMS

PHILADELPHIA (4/22/03) - Saint Joseph's University juniors Erin Brady, Irina Krasnoshiok and Stephanie Graff were named to the All-Philadelphia Big Five teams at the City Series' annual awards dinner held at the Hyatt at Penn's Landing. Krasnoshiok, who averaged a team-high 14.3 ppg. and ranked second on the team in rebounding was named to the All-Big Five first team. The Moldova native was also named to the All-Atlantic 10 Third Team during the year. She was joined on the first team by Trish Juhline and Katie Davis from Villanova, Penn's Jewel Clark and Temple's Stacey Smalls. One of the keys to SJU's run to the Atlantic 10 east title, Brady topped the Hawks in both assists and steals and ranked second in scoring (11.8 ppg.) during the year. The transfer from American was named to the All-Big Five second team. ALso being named to the second team were Penn's Katie Kilker, Villanova's Courtney Mix and La Salle's Kat Foley and Jill Marano. The all-academic squad consisted of Graff, Temple's Christena Hamilton, La Salle's Chrissy Walker, Penn's Mikaelyn Austin, and Villanova's Kelly Nash. La Salle's Davineia Payne was named the Big Five Rookie of the Year. Villanova, which won its first City Series crown since 1996, took home both Player and Coach of the Year awards, as Juhline and Harry Perretta were honored.
